USC Grads Receive Fellowships

<p>Graduates of USC have received many competitive fellowships this spring. Already announced were ten Fulbright Fellowships, so far. Also, awarded was a prestigious Churchill Fellowship, one of 14 in the nation. Luce and Sloan Fellowships were awarded as well as many others not as well know such as: Oakley, Beaumont, Japan Foundation, Humbolt, Knauss, Ransom Center, Mellon and NSF Fellowships.</p>

<p>Two students from the School of Policy, Planning and Development were awarded William Clinton/Orfalea Fellowships. Four more students from SPPD received Andrew Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowships.</p>

<p>Scott Seidel, from the Viterbi School of Engineering, was awarded a 3 year National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.</p>

<p>Philip Kwong, also from Viterbi, received a 3 year scholarship from the National Sciences and Engineering Research Council.</p>
