USC Students Receive Prestigious Fellowships/Scholarships

<p>Congratulations to the members of the Trojan family who have been awarded top scholastic awards this 2009-2010 year.</p>

<p>Fulbright Scholarships are awarded over a period of time. Last year SC had 18 Fulbright Scholars. So far this year eight have been awarded.</p>

<p>Two Boren Scholarships have been received as well as one Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship. Just named this week is a new Pew Scholar who was a previous Boren Scholar.</p>

<p>The Marshall School of Business announced three Ph.D students were awarded a Deloitte Foundation Doctoral Fellowship, Hayne Dissertation Fellowship and the Michael Barclay Award.</p>

<p>Technology Review has named two individuals from the Viterbi School of Engineering as Young Innovators. Only 35 are named across the country.</p>

<p>Mary David has won a Google Borg Memorial Scholarship and $10,000. She is a Viterbi student. Only 20 of these are named each year.</p>
