Yeah the bank statement is not needed for the admission decision but if we provide them with the statement before they makes the decision, and if it happens that we get the admission then, in that case they will send the I20 along with admission decision and if we wait for the decision and then send the bank statement then it will delay the process of getting I20.
I hope i am clear!!

I suppose it depends on the program you are applying for. But I really doubt there are many programs that do not require LoR. I know most engineering ones need it.

@Nirmisha- whats the amount which you had shown??
Because when i called up USC then at that time I came to know that the amount I had shown was $800 short then what they required.
So you better check it with them.

No work experience as such because i completed my degree in this may. But i had done 3 trainings, one of 4 months and the other 2 of 2 months. Then after my college i am working as a trainee engineer on a construction site. That’s it, this is what I have written in my C.V.

Hi ppl… I’ve applied to USC too… Waiting for a decision… i applied in the month of August… my application is being reviewed by the concerned depatment… Any idea as to when i can expect a decision?

Traditionally, Viterbi takes forever to send out decisions for it’s Masters programs. It doesn’t matter when you apply. If you have high scores and grades, you will get an admit early. If you don’t, they will wait until the very last minute to see if they can admit anyone else that has a higher score and grade than you. They usually send out all the rejections at the very last minute, while some people don’t even get any results at all.

Also, they don’t care about your work experience at all.
