USC Housing for Spring

Hey has anyone heard back from USC Housing about housing for the spring semester? I'm in Denmark right now doing an exchange program and I basically have nowhere to live come next semester.

Nope, I haven't heard anything either. This is really getting to me, since we don't have much time left, and I still have no idea what's going to happen.

Spring admit here. I already received my housing assignment. The first wave came out a couple of days ago. Although, there are a lot more people that still need housing.

they prioritize the spring freshmen. the transfer got the i'm sorry letter before hand.

I'm very hesistant to sign up for an apartment because I have no idea what its really going to be like without being able to see it first.

they have a "virtual tour" function on USC's housing website. go look at it.
let's put it this way: most of the apartments are very generic and I think you'll find yourself with ample space and breathing room.

I mean with regards to location (mainly walking distance and safety).

And I was referring to off-campus apartments, which I don't think are featured on the website (correct me if I'm wrong, though). And which also won't come furnished (another plus for an OOS-er).

totally understand--you will want to walk around the area of your complex to see what's nearby.

off campus apartments are on the website and do have the virtual tour function. i know because i live in one of those off campus apartments and remember being able to look at an example of the inside of a room in my apartment complex.
go to housing.usc.edu and look for your complex. you'll need quicktime to view the virtual tour.

actually* off campus apartments owned by the UNIVERSITY come furnished. bed, desks, chairs, dressers, couch, living room necessities, etc.
The only thing you might have to buy is a good lamp since housing doesn't give enough lamps for each person to have one.
the apartments are really nice compared to dorms.i think you will be impressed with the amount they give you.

If anyone needs housing feel free to message me. I have a place available to rent.

I've got a back up plan in case USC housing doesn't give me a spot (since I am a senior and we're basically last to get an assignment). But my backup plan isn't the best plan ever (living in a house on jefferson).

I mean I'll take anything USC gives me...even Century.
