USC Mailing Decisions Already??? FIGHT ON~!

Has USC started to mail decisions already?

Tomorrow is the first day back from Spring Break…should be very soon!

!!! breaks out in a sweat This is my first choice school!!

Good luck 2 everyone!:)

ahhhh I applied for film production and screenwriting! I’m definitely not expecting to get in but oh my gosh it would be such a dream come true! Good luck to everyone:))))

Wait, can anyone confirm they’ve begun mailing?

^ They should start mailing sometime this week!

Bump  fight on

bump bump bump

Forgive me, I’m a little new at this, how do you know that USC will start sending out letters sometime soon? On their website they say:
“All first-year applicants who submit a complete application by the deadline will be mailed an admission decision by April 1.”

So obviously we’ll start hearing soon but has anyone spoken with someone in the office of undergraduate admissions to confirm approxiamtely what day letters start going out? In my seraching around on forums, I’ve yet to see anyone that has recieved a letter of any kind.

MarchMayJune, People are just speculating because traditionally USC has started to send out decisions around this time in past years. Hopefully we’ll know something soon! However they did have a record number of applicants this year so that date may be pushed back.

@HeyitsLC
Oh alright I see, thank you. This whole process is very stressful so hopefully good news will be coming to everyone soon.

Thanks again!

I called the admissions office today and asked them if they knew a date, and the lady told me that they will be sending them out next week, so I guess we have to wait longer than last year!

just called admissions they said that they will be mailing decisions on the 27th. so far away :(

How long does it take to mail if you live pretty close to USC?

Transfer applicant here just looking to add to the discussion.

I dug up my old rejection letter from 2010 and it was actually dated March 27th. I am not aware on USC will release their decisions this year (skimming through the threads it seems they have changed their methods) but back in 2010 all acceptances went out first followed by rejections. I just find the 27th date to be extremely late considering some applicants might receive their packets after the April 1 deadline.

Does anyone know how long mail would take to get from Los Angeles to the Midwest, specifically Wisconsin?

Good luck to everyone! From what I remembered in the scholarship decisions earlier, mail didn’t take a lot longer than 2-3 days to arrive. It also didn’t seem to always go by geographic location, because I got my package after some east coast people did.

USC confirmed that letters are going to be sent out March 27th.

Scroll through the transitioning slides and it says it there.

If I’m going to be near campus (and away from home/my mailbox) on the 29th do you think I could go to admissions and ask them about my decision?

Yes. We were on a tour last year on March 25 and someone was waiting for a decision and they were taken to an office to get their decision.
