So I am having a hard time deciding where to go for undergrad. I want to do international business or double major with business and international relations. When I say McCombs I don’t mean BHP. I currently live in Texas, so UT is far better finances wise (we even got a grant from them and from what I’ve heard, no one gets money from UT), but I know USC is better from something more internationally focused. Plus, I dont know how good UT’s networking is for job placement. However, USC is far from home and expensive cost of living, and though I would prefer to go there because of my major, is it really worth for undergrad?
In my opinion, McCombs seems like a far better option especially if you attend grad school.
The schools are comparable in rankings, you will be closer to home and you save $200k and get to live in Austin.
For undergrad stay at Texas. If you want to do something Asia-focused in grad school, then USC might be worth considering.
