USC!!!!!!!!!!! My dream school

I am just so happy that I know where I want to go to school now.
USC is amazing! and I love it. I love everything about it, the academics, the athletics, and its location... sunny California baby! So Im just really happy now... and of course now I have my eyes set on it... and naturally want to do everything in my power to get accepted.

I am going to list my stats so I can see where i stand, and hopefully my chances are good??!!!

Also Id also like to ask what schools are most like USC... actually just mainly there campus. I love how the entire campus is gated, and its all compact like that. yet, with large quads still in there and the beautiful architecture. Wut schools have a similar campus and are similar to USC in many ways? Thanks!

Well heere are my stats and hopefully you can tell me if I have a chance.

Here are USC's mid-50% for SAT scores:
Verbal:620 – 710
Math: 650 – 730
Combined: 1270 – 1440

So, I'd think you would need to get your SAT scores up to have a better chance of admission. Also, you might want to post this over on the USC forum.

well you are within the ranges

focus on the essays... and I think you will get in

Good that you are getting a list of similar schools. USC has had a huge increase in applicants and is pushing to improve it's standing, so admissions are tighter.

Do you want to be where the weather is nice year round?

Also, it looks to me like one of your scores is not in the mid-50% range. Did you list them in this order: CR, M, W? If so, your math score is below the mid-50% and it wouldn't hurt to retake and try to bump it up a bit.

Please do not pin all your hopes and thoughts on one school. In today's admissions climate that is a very bad idea. It is great to have a first choice but come up with a range of schools to apply to.
Many students do not get into their dream school, go somewhere else and end up loving the school they are at. Successful people "bloom where they are planted."
