Also, how do I get my Oasis login? Do I need to make my deposit beforehand? I want to know what units transferred

@rowergirl2013 You’re oasis ID is you usc ID# and your birthday (either mmddyy or mmddyyyy) and they don’t transfer your units until after you commit to the school, plus it takes a while, so you won’t see them right away. I imagine they don’t want to waste time transferring units for students who aren’t going to attend.

Just submitted my intent to enroll

I’m just wondering how I get my @usc.edu email as I need it for registering for an orientation date. Thanks.

@fightingtitan you’ll get an email for orientiation

To get your @usc.edu go here “email.usc.edu” and follow directions to activate from the link in the right, you will have to wait a day or two after you submitted your intent to enroll for the system to update wih your info.

I was admitted last week and payed my enrollment deposit. I just checked my oasis and my courses have not been entered yet. Is that normal?

Edit: There has been recent activity on my oasis account, I just can’t see any of my completed class entered. What is it supposed to look liked?

anyone else commuting? im driving from riverside and its an hour away but with traffic who knows! at least for the first semester and maybe I can get too know classmates who need to rent a room,( as in housing not owned by USC)

@fdominguez Thank you very much for the help I was able to get my email :)

any girls interested in the Lorenzo apartments and want to be rooommates, message me!

Anyone hear back from USC for the transfer merit scholarship?

Still waiting on FA package. Hoping Lorenzo has some space come January

@Bennyisbanksy i’m also commuting, i’m like 15-20 mins away. wow riverside? so far… but good luck in regards to traffic if you ultimately decide to commute for 1st semester

@MateoY

USC will only notify you if you received the scholarship. If you did not receive it, then they will not notify you. I called them today and they said that if we received one, it would be posted to our USC Connect account in the messages area under the Admissions Status Check area by today, June 3. You can call them up if you want to confirm. Unfortunately, I did not receive one. Apparently only a very small number of merit scholarships are awarded.

Currently trying to figure out what may be potentially cheaper - off-campus or on-campus housing. I’m currently fro the East Coast and Im trying to outweigh the pros and cons.

@ipodtouch99 that’s a shame thanks for ur help

If anyone wants to message me about living off campus as possible roommates send me a private message.

@IRforlife same here, well I am from Cali but it’s a big decision, financially.

Are off campus housing leases usually for a full year or just the academic year?

^ USC-owned/managed housing (in other words, the housing you get by requesting a housing assignments from USC) on or off-campus is an academic-year lease. Non-USC housing (Gateway, Lorenzo, Stuho, Conquest, etc.) is typically a 12-month lease.

Lorenzo emailed me and they offer 6, 10, and 12 month leases. 10 is about as close to an academic year as possible.

How is Stuho? The reviews I read weren’t all that great…

I’m just gonna stay on campus. I was assigned annenberg but I’m trying to switch to century
