Anyone looking for a roommate? My son who is a sophomore in the Marshall School has a lease at West 27th Street and his roommate just fell through last minute.

So after calling USC and having my parents ask them questions, we found out that USC made a couple of GIANT errors while determining my FA package. So USC told us to appeal and show different documentation and it should be recalculated. Fingers crossed that this hopefully fixes everything and it all works out…I’m telling you guys in case this maybe happened to you guys! If your FA seems completely unrealistic and doesn’t make sense, you should call and ask why it is so high!

Hi I am from San Diego, CA and I will be transferring into USC as a Junior! I am a political science major, I take my school every seriously but I also know how to have a good time. I am always outside, playing inter-mural soccer, going for a hike, or exploring my city. I am in a sorority( Kappa Alpha Theta) and I love being involved in school activities, aka football games!!! I am looking for someone who stays active, who enjoys adventures, is generally clean, likes having a girls night/out.

Also what are some places to live off campus that are good but not too expensive

Anyone have any opinions about gateway, icon or Lorenza for off campus housing?

@Bennyisbanksy Sorry to hear about your situation! I’m not in the same boat, but your plans sound good for deferring enrollment if you think the money issue may be too much. I would look to see if you can also do scholarships of some sort or even work study and what not. If you don’t feel secure with the money issue then deferring and looking at your options would be wise. You can always go back to USC for grad school when you are more financially secure. As much as it is a dream school, you have to make the decision on what you want to deal with and having huge loans that continue to get bigger will probably become extremely stressful for you.

@5nonnegotiables I was suggested gateway, but the reviews on yelp kind of scared me away lol. I’m going to be moving into Tuscany, which I’m happy about because it’s the closest to the business school and I’m kind of hoping it’ll be a little quieter being a bit of a ways from the other housing.

Lorenzo is very new and seems to be very popular. It’s in a populated area and is supposedly really hotel like and very nicely furnished. It’s also seems to be where more of the party people tend to be so it will definitely be louder over there. If you’re looking for that type of scene you might enjoy it! I hear it’s also pretty expensive, but I don’t really know the scale to use when it comes to price in accordance with USC lol.

I’m not sure about Icon though. I think it just depends on your priorities and what you’re looking for. Party scene, a quiet place, loud place, close to all the other dorms, a little more secluded, close to where your classes may potentially be, those kind of things.

Anybody looking for a roomate?

I am. USC housing?

I’m looking for a roommate for Spring 2015. @StreakRogue you could always do rent someone’s sublet for August-December and rent a different one January-May. Or rent the same one for the whole time (if anyone has one for that long).

I plan on renting out someone’s sublet. It’s waaaay cheaper than any other options I’ve seen if you don’t plan on doing a 12 month lease.

For everyone who got in thru SGR with unofficial transcripts, where did you guys send in your official transcripts? Same address?
