<p>Leonard Schaeffer, the Judge Robert Widney Chair and USC Professor, will endow the Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics with a gift of $25 million dollars. The Center was established in 2009 and is housed in the USC Price School of Public Policy.</p>
<p>The center is associated with the USC School of Pharmacy. Dean Vanderveeen remarked," The endowment of the USC Schaeffer Center promises continuing efforts to find answers to today's pressing health care challenges.</p>
<p>Dr. Dana Goldman is Director of the Schaeffer Center and holder of the Norman Topping Chair in Medicine and Public Policy.</p>
<p>Professor Schaeffer has had a career in academia, private business and govenment.</p>
