<p>Hi! I was admitted into USC this year but will my second semester grades affect me that much in my admissions to USC? I've gotten all A's last semester but I might get a B in my high schools college course of ENG 100. My cumulative gpa will go down to a 3.8 from a 3.9. I don't have very high sat or act scores but I have lots of community service and good letters of rec. will they rescind my application? </p>

<p>Most likely they will not. From what I understand, a college will only rescind an offer of admission if there is a SIGNIFICANT drop in a student’s performance. IE: All A’s to C’s and D’s. Although, if you have a -conditional- acceptance that states you can’t get anything less than an A (unlikely) it’s possible that they could rescind if you renege on that agreement. In short, you’re fine.</p>
<p>So if on my acceptance letter it says a “conditional acceptance” I have to get an A?</p>

<p>What are the 'Conditions"? The letter should state that. </p>
<p>It says: “please remember that your admission is contingent upon verifications of official academic records, satisfactory completion of course work and avoidance of academic and behavioral misconduct” </p>

<p>It just says that on the paper where it has my intended major and school I’ll be attending </p>
<p>zaza, after D1 was accepted to USC she let her academic slided. I think she got a couple Cs. She got all 1s on her AP tests, wasted a lot of my money on AP testing. She was never rescinded, infact, she was accepted to the honors program, Thematic Option and ended up graduating with Latin honors. So I think you should be ok.</p>

<p>One B? NO WAY! I don’t even think 3 B’s would do anything. Fail a class, get 3 C’s, or something like that and you’ll MAYBE be rescinded. Not like this, though</p>
<p>Ugghhhh I’m just stressing out so much because my sat scores aren’t that good so I’m wondering if they were just banking on my GPA? </p>

<p>TRUST ME. One B? Don’t even lose sleep over it. Log of out college conf, and don’t ever look back. YOU’RE GOING TO USC, one of the most AMAZING schools ever! YOU will NOT be rescinded! Congrats :)</p>

<p>zaza: Frankly I don’t know if you’re just joking or have lost your senses in a panic attack. You want to avoid Ds, Fs and felonies. Are any of these in your future? Otherwise, please calm the heck down. You’ll drive people crazy with your nonsensical worrying.</p>
<p>I think some UCs do rescind for Cs and stuff but that is why you should apply to at least a few private schools just in case.</p>
