Does anybody know why they send me spring grades request? If I got rejected, is it possible to appeal? I didn’t do well three semesters due to family issues. I really hope USC can accept me cuz it is my dream school.
They may have sent you the spring grade request because of those rocky semesters. USC wants to see if you can perform well in a semester that’s going more smoothly, so it’s somewhat of a test. Yes, you can appeal, but the odds are incredibly slim. Fingers crossed that you don’t get rejected, but if you did, it doesn’t hurt to send an appeal In the end, all you’d be wasting is the effort of writing the appeal letter. The odds would be against you, but you never know. For what it’s worth, I was rejected after getting my SGR and tried to appeal - no luck. Hopefully things go better for you than they did for me and you don’t have to go through any of that
What was your Gpa when you got asked for you SGR? If you don’t mind me asking.
I am a freshman going to CSULB (Business Major) (3.4 first semester)
I am in the same situation. Just got asked for my Spring grades, and am currently doing pretty well, 4.0 - 3.4 range. 4/5 classes that I am taking transfer over to USC
Can I ask why they rejected you even if you tried to appeal? How many units do you have when you applied?
