USC Spring Transfer Financial Aid/Housing

I hope someone who has gone through this can give me some insight.

My admissions to USC is for the Spring 2016. My financial aid award is for only the Spring. I was given $3k in Pell Grant, $4k in Cal Grant and $16k in University Grant for the Spring of 2016. If my financial situation stays the same, I know that I would receive double the Pell Grant and double the Cal Grant for the following school year because I would be attending fall and spring. My question is, can I assume that the University Grant would double as well? Do loan offers double too?

Also was it hard to find housing since they do not guarantee housing for spring admits?

I thank everyone in advance for their input.

My son was a Freshman Spring admit. I was told that the grant and loans would have doubled if he had been accepted to Fall. Transfer students will find it hard to get decent USC housing but a lot of students sublet for the Spring (study abroad, etc). Once you join the Facebook group you’ll see the sublet announcements. Another option is the Gateway apartments right around the corner from USC.

You shouldn’t have a problem with USC Housing. They usually have space, especially if you apply when they begin accepting apps. Off-Campus housing is more difficult though because many of them only have 12 month leases beginning in August
