<p>I tried to log in to check my status just now and the website said that it was down for maintenance until 5 tomorrow morning. Could this mean that a lot of people will receive status updates soon?</p>

<p>It didn’t say anything before. Usually, I am able to log in and look at my status, application, materials and everything. I cannot even log in now which tells me that something is up, especially because everyone is expecting USC to send out letters any day now.</p>
<p>I may be mistaken on this, but according to last year’s acceptance thread, those who were in committee review during February were usually scholarship candidates. Correct? Anyone?</p>

<p>I agree but I also saw that a good chunk of the students accepted in January did not receive any updates.</p>

<p>So does anybody’s just simply say “Your application is being reviewed by the admission committee?”</p>
<p>This has been my status for awhile:
“Your application is being reviewed by the admission committee. We will mail notification of their decision by April 1. If for some reason you don’t receive our written notice, we will be happy to provide the results over the phone beginning April 11th.”</p>
<p>it’s being reviewed by the committee effectively, so is that not the same thing? Or did it change from my message to that one?</p>
