<p>So the USC game is on October 20, but Fall break is listed on the academic calendar as starting Oct 20. Does this mean students won't receive tickets for this game with the regular season ticket packages?</p>
<p>You get all the tickets. I recommend going home on Sunday or Monady and coming back Friday. You absolutely NEVER want to miss a game, especially ND-USC. In fact, you are allowed to stay on campus for breaks (not winter).</p>
<p>I agree, you want to make it to all of the games. However, if you decide not to go to that one, LET ME KNOW as I still have my student ID and I would drive up for it in a heartbeat!</p>
<p>Oh theres no way I wouldnt go to all of the games, I was just worried that we wouldnt get the tickets.</p>
<p>Nope, you will get the tickets, just keep your ears open for young alums like me who probably won't get those tickets even though we request them :).</p>

<p>Charlie came out and said that he is going with the green jerseys for the USC game. Somewhat of a tribute to the 1977 team. Not sure if I like the idea of telling ND nation so far in advance; I love it when they surprise us.</p>
<p>They announced it ahead of time because they are throwback green jerseys, not the normal ones we've seen the past two years. They are going to wear similar pants to the '77 team as well. However, I do agree that it kind of kills there magic. Anyone who was there for the 05 USC game, can attest to how much electricity those jerseys generated when they came out of the tunnel. The place went absolutely berserk. Here's the video I shot from the student section that day of the team coming out of the tunnel.</p>

<p>I bet it was insane! The craziest in stadium moment I ever experienced was this year in the last minute of the UCLA game. Someone across the stadium described it to me as the student section "shrinking" toward the field. Everyone rushed forward and for a while I was hugging someone I had never met. It was incredible.</p>

<p>This is a random post, but I almost just cried watching that video... Being at Notre Dame just give me tingles.
I love ND. I just pray I get in.
But I'm disappointed they dropped the amount of family tickets. And I'm still a senior this year....
But hey at least almost all are televised.</p>
<p>PS My sister decided not to go abroad this year just to stay for the games and the ND experience.</p>
