[li] Comments: Since I got accepted to Berkeley for Spring 2011, I’m thinking of going either UCLA or USC. (I’m leaning towards USC :))[/li][/ul]

Just wondering…which do you think will be easier to transfer to USC from? I am going to be a freshman next year and not sure if I should go to UCSD or Pepperdine. I’d rather go to UCSD because I honestly think i’d have more fun there, but my mom wants me to go to Pepperdine because she thinks academics will be better there then UCSD since i’ll need to get at least a 3.6+ to transfer to USC. Also, she thinks this because there are so many more students at UCSD and the competition will be tough, where as Pepperdine, there are much fewer students since it’s a private school, and i’ll get more one on one attention from the professors. Yes I know going to a CC would be the smartest option but I have no intentions of staying home and going to a CC next year. Anyways, let me know what you guys think would be better if I plan on trying to transfer to USC by next year (Fall 2011). Thanks so much!

[/ul]Other:[ul]

[li] Other schools applied to: It was USC or nothing for me. I highly recommend not doing this lol I put all my eggs in one basket.
[/li]

[li] Note, I applied my senior year of high school and didn’t get in. My GPA was maybe a ~3.4 and my ACT was…pretty bad lol. But USC is sosososo generous to transfers (especially Viterbi). It’s the school of dreams and second chances…in other words…its better than Disneyland.
[/li]

[li] Comments: this …is the best feeling…ever…like…everrrrrr.
[/li]

For all you Viterbi transfers, start your apps early and get in touch with a counselor, they are really, really nice!!! Go to transfer day and introduce yourself. Whenever you hit a snag in your application process, tell them, they will email you. Contacts really help and they show youre interested in the school.

I am also an artist, I sent in a portfolio with my application.

This was a life changing experience for me. What woke me up every day was the thought of one day waking up a Trojan. You have to really want this. But if i can do it, so can you!!! Wherever you want to go, work hard to get there!

FIGHT ON, TROJANS!! BEAT THE BRUINS!!!
