USC Trojan Transfer plan

<p>So in my rejection letter today it says the basic "We are unable to offer. . ."
And near the end it says:
"After reviewing your application, we determined that you are among a special group of students whose eventual enrollment at USC is of great interest to us. As such, we have set aside time during the summer, from June 12th through July 1st, for you to meet with a member of our admission staff. Our aim is to help you establish a personalized transfer plan that will assist you in gaining admission to USC as a transfer student within the next two or three semesters."</p>

<p>What does it mean by within the next 2 or 3 semesters? does that mean 2nd semester of Freshmen year? Should I still Appeal? Is it a guarantee if i get good grades at a JC?</p>
