USC, UCLA, Columbia, NYU, Stanford Film school

<p>Do you think I can get into any film schools especially Stanford and Columbia.
What can I do to increase my chances?

<p>Columbia and Stanford do not have film schools in the same sense as USC and NYU. At Columbia a student can study film in their School of the Arts. The scope of their film studies major does not approach that provided by SC or NYU, in my opinion.</p>

<p>At Stanford the film studies major is fairly new. I think it was approved in 2005. Their film and media studies is a major within the Department of Art and Art History. </p>
