Usc? Ucsd?

I recently received admission to both of these schools.

UCSD offered me the honors program, is closer to the beach, AND has a much cheaper price tag. It also has a strong bio program, which is a major possibility for me (im undecided right now).

however,

USC seems to be more attractive to me in terms of school spirit, reputation, alumni network, and ranking. They did not give me any money or honors, and my family does not qualify for any need based.

Although I am grateful to my parents (who have told me that they will financially support me wherever I choose to go), I feel bad about asking them for a QUARTER MILLION dollars just for an UNDERGRAD education.

Which would you suggest? Honors and cheaper? or Reputation and school spirit?
Please give me your (as much as possible) unbiased opinion.
I'm so confused!

What’s your major?

undeclared at the moment.

still undecided?

im on the same boat! i got into both sd and usc for cs. its a hard choice…only if usc wasn’t so expensive…

Computer Science is one of USC’s strong points. (well, so I’ve read)

If you can afford USC, definitely take it. You should probably decide when you get your financial aid packages.

ucsd has a great computer science program too actually, I was just reading about it the other day.

^^ Didn’t know that, well then looks like whichever way you go you should come out with the same result, so now it’s about the cost and the college experience you’re looking for.

Visit both campuses and see which one you like better.
