Hi all,
Recently, I was accepted to UCSD and USC, waitlisted at UC Berkeley, and I am still waiting to hear from Brown (PLME). I am planning to accept the waitlist offer at UCB, but I was wondering which of these four schools would be best for pre-medicine? Regardless of financial matters (I’m expecting good aid at each institution), at what school would I have an “enjoyable” pre-med experience, good research opportunities, and a greater chance of being accepted to a good medical school? Regardless of where I go, I am planning to put my best effort forth, but I was wondering which of these institutions seems to be most supportive for their pre-med candidates and have a greater abundance of opportunities for students? I was originally planning to major in a biological science, but I would love to be able to major in Spanish or something more humanities-based and still fulfill (and even exceed) medical school requirements.
I appreciate your help! Thank you!
