<p>Jason Silverman, a junior at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering, has been named a recipient of the 2013 Astronaut Scholarship. This scholarship comes with an award of $10,000. It is one of the largest awards given to outstanding science and engineering students in the U.S.</p>
<p>Jason is majoring in astronautical engineering at Viterbi. The scholarship will be presented in early October on the USC campus.</p>
