Hey yall,
I am about to approach my senior year of high school and I have narrowed my top choices down to, University of Southern Cal, University of Miami, Tulane University, and University of Michigan. However, I really want to do communications. I know I want to do something in commercial and advertising design or film production. All these schools have some sort of communication program, but others are better. I know USC, Umich, and Miami all have very good communication programs. However, Tulane does have communications, just not known as a popular major at the school. The reason Tulane is in my top choice, though, is because I think the size is very ideal, it is a very fun/spirited school, and it is gorgeous (it just has all the qualities I am looking for). Even though I loved Tulane, I still really want to go to a good communication school. I am just worried if I go to Tulane (theoretically) that I wouldn't get the opportunities for internships, classes, etc, than if I went to one of the other schools. My question is should I be worried about the opportunities I may have at a school with just an "okay" communication program (but is probably my most favorite), or should I go to a school with a very prestigious communication program, but did not like it as much as another school (even if I still could see myself there).

I tried to make my question as easy as I could, but if it is hard to understand, just let me know and I will clarify!
