Fastsauce: sorry about the rejection it’s tough, I admit. My younger brother is in the Bay Area and is anxiously waiting for his decision as we speak. Are you in the South Bay or another part?

Have any people in the Bay Area gotten their packets yet? I haven’t…

what the **** is going on. I live in LA County (So Cal), all the students at my school already got their USC decisions, yet for me it’s day 2 of mail searching and still no USC notice. How long can it take to reach someone 40 minutes away from campus, especially when everyone else around you has already recieved it?!?! At this rate if I’m accepted to Berkley I may just have my decision choice to there or Cornell, cuz USC obviously isn’t interested enough to give me a notice the same time as everyone else in the same region. I Guarantee they’d never let this happen to an athletic recruit. ugh. (Still love USC so plz don’t take this as a hate message, I’m just really tense and frustrated at this unorganized admission process).

@collegecondor
same here, i live in pasadena (30-40mins away) and still have not received any mail from usc.
i first assumed that i was rejected (as acceptances are priority mail therefore arrive earlier) but some other kids in the same city have already received rejection letters yesterday and today. so now i’m not sure what’s going on.

Please do not blame SC when it may be the fault of the USPS. In our suburban area we often receive mail for other people in other neighborhood and deliver it to them by hand. Sometimes we see mail put in our mailbox by neighbors.

Try calling your local post office. If you do not receive any word tomorrow try calling the admissions office of the school that has your major, rather than the general admissions office. Perhaps they might be willing to give you the information.

Fastsauce,

That stinks! I would appeal. Fight on means fight on!

Nothing here, but Usconnect is supposed to updated tomorrow. (tweeted)

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-southern-california/1311726-usconnect-will-updated-friday-3-30-a.html?highlight=am+or+pm

Accepted with a 2130 and 3.4 UW!!! To everyone who hasn’t gotten their reply yet, don’t lose hope! USC really takes into consideration your package as a whole, not just numbers! Super excited, FIGHT ON

Btw I’m from the bay area

Rejected (in AZ) but happy with my other options!

Kids in my town (Bay Area suburb) got their denial letters today, but my friend and I have not gotten our notifications from USC yet. Are there delays for some of the letters, because we all live in the same area?

still nothing… i think that for the people who didnt receive anything yet, we were most likely rejected. ive heard of two cases of acceptances here in brazil already and i still havent received anything. the acceptances should have arrived by now…

Hi all USC hopefuls,

We have been waiting all week for USC’s letter or large envelope to arrive and it hasn’t. Today we checked online at USConnect and she has been accepted!!! Thrilled, as this is her first choice.
So don’t worry if you haven’t received anything yet. Hopefully our envelope will arrive today!!! Here’s to you all of the hopefuls finally getting their responses today!!

^i thought they didn’t announce decisions online?

On USConnect, under admissions tab, if you have deposit as a box, you got in.

Darn, my day is ruined.

And if that box doesn’t appear, you’re for sure rejected?

I sure hope not!! I want to go to USC badly!!

My daughter received a Spring 2013 admisson and there’s no “deposit” box on her USConnect page. Maybe it’s only for the fall admits
