I applied to both USF and UF for an undergraduate in biology- premed (or something in that manner) for the Fall. Yesterday, I discovered that I was accepted to USF. I have yet to hear from UF. In the even that I'm accepted to both, which one do you suggest would be better to attend?

If my personal info has any bearing on your decision, I'm a sixteen year old girl.
moving on...

My goal is to complete med-school and become a psychiatrist

I always wanted to go to USF because it's a nice school and really current looking. UF is-- well-- "UF" and it's like the top school in the state. The alumni is prominent also.

Eh, not quite. For a liberal arts education, New College is by far the best school in the state; music, journalism, and other subjects related to the arts is FSU — but I digress.

Have you visited both schools? USF is an up-and-coming public research university with many great facilities. You are referring to the Tampa campus, right? Knowing many of the professors in the sciences at USF and having talked to a number of their students (most of which reported being both challenged and engaged, unlike reports from many of my friends who attend UF), I’d be more inclined to choose USF. UF does have its name and the (in many ways, underserved) prestige that comes along with it, though.

UF easily. They have Shands hospital on campus, more prestige and better research opportunities. Not to mention hotter women/ men (whichever you prefer), superior athletics and a rating of the #5 party school in America. Add all of that to a kick ass medical school and I think you have an easy decision. Come be a part of the Gator Nation.
