I have been accepted to both schools and I want to go for pre med. I am not exactly sure what to major in at each university so any input would help. I know Ucf is huge but I have not seen the campus yet. I did see Usf and I liked the campus but it was dead because it was a Sunday. Which is more of a commuter school? I know Ucf does not have the traditional dorms. My major focus is which one is better for acedemics? Research? Environment and student faculty ratio? Which one is better for a pre med student?

@04179910, my daughter was accepted at both schools. I feel that USF provides more of the college experience than UCF. There are more students on campus during the weekends at USF than UCF and it was one of the factors for my daughter who is an out of state freshman. Now, you are pre-med. Great News both schools have their own medical schools and so work hard get the gpa above 3.7, score high on MCAT, and have relevant clinical experience.
You would be good to go if you are a Florida resident.
