I recently was accepted to Drexel for the accelerated BS/PhD program in Chemical Engineering and I spoke to an admissions person at Drexel who said that if I were to use my AP Calc AB credit at Drexel, I would be able to recieve credit for Calc I and Calc II. I've read the undergrad catalog and this makes sense as there is Calc I, Calc II, Calc III, and Multivariable Calc at Drexel(Calc I - Differentiation, Calc II - Integration, Calc III - Series, Multivariable - Self Explanatory), but I was just concerened about using the credit. Im worried that by using Calc AB, I won't have alot of the material under my belt as from what I understand, Calc AB doesnt go as in depth with Integration as does Calc II. She had said that many students do fine and go right to Multivariable Calc after using their AP Calc AB credit. I just wanted to know if anyone else has done this and what their opinion of it is?
