Using JRB in auditions with prerecorded music

<p>I know JRB is generally a big no-no because his music tends to be hard to sightread. But is JRB acceptable to use at an audition where you have to provide your own accompaniment (ie: Unified auditions)?</p>

<p>Just wondering...</p>

<p>His songs generally have great acting arcs - in addition to the accompaniment question, there may be 2 other issues.... if you are singing a cut, is it long enough to convey the acting intent you want? And - gee, he sure is popular with kids - you may be running into tons of people singing his stuff.</p>
