<li><p>If no for #1, will the Regent scholarship committee know if I reused the same essay?</p></li>

<p>I have the same question! the essay prompt fits one of my UC essays almost spot on. Do people who read the scholarship essays also see your UC app ones?</p>
<p>I read in this forum itself,that you are selected based on your essay,gpa and sat scores.IF so they will definitely know you recycling your essay.why to take a chance.</p>

<p>Admission is separate from the scholarships (Regents or otherwise). You should be fine.</p>
