I just took my candidate fitness assessment for the Naval Academy yesterday, and my scores are as follows:

Bball throw: 66'3"
pull ups: 4
shuttle run: 9.25
crunches: 65
pushups: 65
mile run: 7:44

For any midshipmen or other people who may know, what do you think? I know the pull ups and the mile are crappy, but do you think I passed?

usna, I'd suggest that you repost this in the service academy forums. I took the CFA, and also passed. I think everything looks good, but your pull ups do need work. I'm not sure what the cut off line is, but I knocked in about 10. Practice everyday. Remember, you can take it over and over again.

MS you CANNOT take it over and over again. Once you submit the results only the SA can request...rarity!

Pull ups are an issue, don't fret! It's about the points.

You can too take it over and over again. The West Point dean of admissions told me that face to face when I went to the summer seminar.

You can take a practice over and over again. Once the official CFA is submitted it is official and the square is filled. USNA go over to the SA site there are alot of threads about the CFA.
I can also tell you for a fact that the USAFA (score is online and can't open the box once it is processed) definetly does not allow it unless they contact you. There is also someone in the WP threads that was allowed to re-take, chose not to, but the WP must ask...has to give you a new CFA.

Here are the scores I submitted to both USAFA and USNA...

BBall: 48(yes i know)
Pull Ups: 15
Shuttle: 8.9
Crunches: 91
Pushups: 59
Mile: 5:52

I am a smaller guy though so I tried to make up for my whack bball throw in pullups, crunches etc. I am a distance runner so the mile I knew wouldnt be bad, couldve been better but I wont complain. Haha not too bad really for a wrestler that has cut weight to make 119lbs ehh???
