USNA Waiver Stuff

<p>I learned I got DQ'd on 3/24/06. I recived a LOA on 2/22/06. I have two nominations to the academy. As of yet there have been no new Remedial requests via mail or the DoDMERB website.
My DoDMERB site reads
R250.10 - Pending waiver review by USNA
plus the DQ code and the non-rebuttable code. </p>

<p>My Questions:
How long does the USNA Waiver process take?
How will they let me know if I have a waiver or not?
Is there any hope for me this late in the game?
Thanks for your help</p>

<p>have you been able to speak to anyone at the academy regarding this? Do you know what your DQ was based on?</p>

<p>Left a post on other thread, XCSkiing Warrior. April 15th is the traditional last day appointments are sent out. But, our Regional Director told us that it is possible to go up until I-Day given waiver type, number of appts. turned down, etc.</p>

<p>Be sure to have a plan B/C. We STILL have three back-up schools, God forbid an injury should occur.</p>

<p>Get in touch with your RD, Admissions, congressman, if it's what you want, time to burn up some phione lines.</p>

<p>Hey,
I got rejected from the Academy last weekend, but during my application, I called up numerous times to ask questions concerning my medical information. A lady told me that until I receive my offer of appointment usna will not review my medical information again. After a dozen phone calls throughout the app process, it sounds to me that usna does not include your medical information when deciding who gets appointments. Keep in mind I did not receive an loa, but perhaps my situation will give you insight on your situation. Call Ms. Becker (i think that's her name) at usna and ask her for guidance.
Regards.</p>
