usually when you say..

usually when you say..reach,match, or slight reach

what do you guys mean by that???
reach-almost impossible?
slight reach-10-30%
match- 50-70%????

match usually means that the students admitted have the same stats you do.

reach means that the students admitted have higher stats than you, or the school accepts very few people, and it's a reach for everyone regardles of stats.

slight reach would basically be that you're on the lower end of the stats of the typical student who gets in.

so ok would you say ucla would be reach with 3.95(w)+2000 stats??

check out collegeboard.com. It's really good with helping you match with your likely school.

i would say ucla and ucb are a reach for anyone just because there admissions is random, and they accept different people for different reasons.
there's been people on here who have been rejected by ucla but have gotten into harvard. figure that out!

ucsd, can be defined as a slight reach, match, and reach because they accept more people than ucb and ucla do.

Super reach: 0-1% chance getting in
Reach: 1-30% chance getting in
Low reach/Match: 30-60%
Low match/safety: 60%-assured
