UT and Scholarship Chances?

Hello, I'm a senior and my central goal is to find a college best suited for me to get into medical school. I plan on getting into UT and majoring in Clinical Lab.
UT Dallas is my safety school and there are some scholarships they offer that I'm interested in. Does anyone have an idea my chances for the AES Scholarship and which kind? I'm also looking into the McDermott Scholarship, but it's extremely competitive!

STATS:
4.43 GPA/about 3.68 unweighted
82/923 (top 8.88%)

SAT Scores:
Math: 610
Reading: 670
Writing: 640
I'm retaking the SAT, since I'm so close to the 2000s, and I'm going to be taking the ACT in hopes of doing a better job with that test. I heard a lot of people are much more successful with the ACT. :)

ECs/Leadership Qualities:
I hosted a school benefit show to donate to nonprofit charities to help Ugandan children. The concert raised $4000+ and collaborated various clubs, from Student Council to Interact Club, together for amazing volunteer opportunities.
4 years of choir
Social Officer of our Students for Christ Club
and I also volunteer at a local retirement home for people afflicted with Alzheimer's.
NHS, AP Scholar, etc.

UT seems to be getting more competitive every year, and I'm just so concerned about not making it. Are there better universities with a more favorable environment for me to get accepted into a good medical school? Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks!! :)

To be honest, probably won’t get Mcdermott with that sat score. Both schools are fine for getting into good med schools.

i thought so  and im glad both are good choices! how are my chances in making UT or getting the AES scholarship? I’ve looked up the averages online, but I was just wondering if anyone has a firsthand idea.
