My admission status is in review, but on the dashboard it says I’m eligible to apply for housing. I usually never click on dashboard so has this always been there or is it new?
My page went from 3 buttons to 6… I guess that’s a new system they’ve put out recently.
Does everyone who is not admitted yet have the Fall 2017 Housing Tab that says, “You are eligible to apply for on-campus housing”?
I’ve been admitted to the college, but not my major yet. I’ve had access to the housing tab for awhile if that’s any help.
Anyways, I’ve heard some people say that February 20th is when the majority of admissions decisions are released. Are decisions for things like majors and honors applications typically released around that time as well?
@cw2 brand new today… and clearly seems positive, implying admission. but it may mean nothing… as my daughter’s application remains in review… since September.
I just noticed that on mine as well today.

I think they’ve upgraded the MyStatus Portal today. Everyone now sees something different
Congratulations to everyone who heard today about their majors! Here’s hoping the end of February brings great news to all who are still waiting.
My S was accepted to CNS, Computer Science. OOS. Now I guess we wait to see about scholarships. He was also admitted to UofMN, OOS and UNR(in state). So he will be turning down two of the three.
Now to continue the excruciating wait. Never in my life did I think my kid who was born and raised in Austin and has been a lifelong Longhorn fan would have such difficulty getting in. He has the stats. It’s so frustrating. Sorry to vent; it’s just so sad.

Hang in there friends! There are plenty of HIGHLY qualified, auto-admit Texas residents still waiting on a decision…I know the wait feels ridiculous, but it won’t be much longer (hopefully)!
