Accepted to McCombs; In-state, no auto-admit!
I was admitted to McCombs at 1:45 pm today, and I applied Dec 1 deadline. My stats are 4.02 UW, 4.45 W (as of without first semester senior grades). I also had a high 2300+ SAT (don’t want to post exact). Unclear if McCombs Honors results are out yet, seems the answer is no, can anyone attest to this?

@BrickBean Thanks, I didn’t get any email. Also I’m noticing a few new things in the utdirect.utexas.edu portal as well that were not there before. Did anyone else notice it too? I’m not ready to wait for another month as well 
I wish it was next week at least.
When I called admissions, the woman I spoke to made it a point to say “no news is not bad news.” Just because a lot of us haven’t heard back yet doesn’t mean that we automatically won’t get in. I know it’s hard, but we have to stay patient guys :).

I got accepted today around 3:45pm to Moody College of Communication as an RTF major! For those of you asking for stats, I’m in-state. I don’t have a class rank as I’m homeschooled but I have an ACT score of 33 and a 4.0 GPA with some dual credit classes. I applied to the Dec. 1st deadline. I’ve done a summer media internship for my church and I do photography for paying clients (those were my main extracurriculars/working experience). Now I’m just waiting on scholarship information. Rank: 25/550
Senior course load: 5 AP math and science classes, 2 dual credit classes, and 1 AP English class
Essays: First one was generic and bland, and the second one I felt I truly expressed my passion for my major.
Extracurriculars: Nothing special (Key Club, Band, Piano, Computer Science club). Hopped around from different extracurriculars throughout high school. As such, many of them I was only in for one year like band and the computer science club.
AP classes total (from 9th-12th): 12
Have gotten 4s and 5s on the AP tests I have taken so far.
National Merit Commended Scholar
An AP Scholar award (I think with distinction although I can’t remember well)
No Dean’s Scholars notification yet
Should we pay the 50 dolar housing fee

Extracurriculars : Developed an iOS app for students at my school (received national award from US Congress). A bunch of internships with our city hall and at tech startups. Doing cs research with Stanford University professor.
Volunteer : 250+ hours
Essay : Don’t really know lol I guess 8 or maybe 9?

My S was also accepted early in the morning (OOS but we are in India) to CNS Computer Science(Entry Level). I hope entry level is same as Computer Science.
