I am not able to pay my 50 dolllar housing fee… i hav not yet been accepted to UT. Is this the reason for not accepting the payment. Will they accpet the payment if i will be accepted only
@USUG21 It is recommended that everyone who applies fill out the housing application and pay the $50 fee. The application and $50 is just a way to secure your place in line for when you are admitted. You will get a detailed application once you are admitted. If it is not letting you pay the application fee you should call them to find out why.
I was accepted yesterday for Biomedical Engineering.
I hav sent them a mail to find out why its nit letting me pay.
@USUG21 It is common to put down a $50 housing deposit before acceptance to the top maybe 2 or 3 schools to which you applied to hold housing space for yourself while you wait for acceptances and make your decision.
@SubBob UT Austin does not do much for merit scholarships so I wouldn’t count on that if I were you.
Oh …do all the colleges hav housing scheme before accceptance… then i hav to see all the portals
If I have been accepted but I’m still waiting to hear back from colleges (mid march) should I pay the housing fee and fill out the application? I don’t want to accept/decline until i find out my other decisions for the colleges I applied Please help!

@bellabiology99 the dorms are given in order of application submitted. I paid the $50 and applied for mine back in October just in case. The housing section has NOTHING to do with the academic side, so you won’t be confirming or denying admission

I was accepted OOS into Moody yesterday around 4! I applied like November 26th.
