No one really knows
Majors are declared usually around 4PM CST.
So does that mean it could come out at 4 or is that only if you have already been auto admitted?

The last few times they’ve been at 3. Does it change?

I just called the admissions office and they said there will not be a wave today and it will be closer to february 1st
Wow. This is getting aggravating. Why can’t they just give us a single date and time so we don’t have to keep guessing like this?
I understand that there are thousands of applicants… but that doesn’t excuse this absurd process. There are some non auto admits that applied after priority that have already heard back, and others who applied in August/September that still haven’t heard! I think that’s just something that needs more consistency. Needless to say, I’m a little frustrated.
I applied to Michigan State which gets about the same amount of applicants - I heard back from them after 6 weeks and they guarantee it by 8. UT just can’t get it together
Because this process with UT is taking so long we have decided to go ahead and accept TAMU’s offer of full acceptance into the Engineering program. Apartments in College station are filling up fast for the Fall semester and we can’t afford to wait any longer. Sorry UT, we tried to wait, but 6 months is a bit much.
Make sure you withdraw your child’s UT App for us 
Yeah …well good luck with that and the 10,000 other engineers they’re wanting to kick out

@hopefulparent18 A&M is a great school! I don’t blame you at all for doing what’s best for your kid. Sounds like a great decision.
