yeah, a lot of my schools will sporadically release all the way up until june. that’s ridiculous! my semester ends in may!
however we do have to keep in mind that we aren’t students they really are actively looking at. they probably give us spots based on people choosing not to attend, rescinsions, etc. that open up spots for us.
I would say try not to call as much because they will give different answers and the uncertainty will just add to stress and anxiety, we’ll find out soon enough
Yeah, i feel like i’m going to set certain dates to check… I might not check again until May.
Hey guys, I think we’ll be alright. Just stay busy and have plans for moving to Austin upon acceptance/back-up plans for otherwise.
The decisions will come when they come. I’m not sure UT Austin even knows, hence why we are getting different answers. I’d start really expecting a decision by mid-to-late April, onward.
Yeah, I called initially about a question I had regarding hours, but I couldn’t resist asking about decisions too.
by this time last year some decisions were already coming out
For all we know there could be some decisions posted tomorrow
I really hope something comes out tomorrow, knowing that will probably help with the stress. I’m applying to CNS so I don’t expect a decision too soon, but I want other people to hear back atleast
Do they have a schedule (ie. Tuesday 10AM) or is it just random?
I think they just keep giving a late date for decisions so nobody bothers them before that date. Hoping to hear back soon tho
I had to call today because I was incorrectly classified as a Non- Texas resident. I asked if the mistake would have any bearing on my admissions review and decision and I was told that it would not be a factor as an admissions decision had not been made yet. I had my app in before February.
Thank you! Keep up the good work. I wish you Goodluck as well:)
as an OOS student I am so relieved to hear that
I have a question.
Is your second choice major only reviewed after they have already made decisions for first choice, or are both second and first reviewed at the same time? Therefore, would you have as much opportunity in being accepted to your second choice as if it were your first?
I am now regretting my first choice and am hoping that I am accepted into my second choice, but I am concerned that admissions board gives less consideration for second choice majors.
Admissions for UT usually come out Friday afternoons
@waspoppin nothing yet. Sometimes they send them out in the evenings or at night. But I don’t see anything coming out today.
Usually the send out the decisions at 7 pm sharp
better luck next week am i right
