UT Austin Fall 2019 Transfer

My son is a Fine Arts major (design) and has not heard back yet either.

Is there anyone in student government that’s going to Dallas for state convention?

@utmcombs yes!!! I’m in SGA at ACC we’re on our way to Dallas right now!

@MAXDAD thanks for sharing! it makes me feel better to know there are other fine arts majors who haven’t heard back yet. i wish ur son good luck!!

Hi! I am hoping to transfer into CNS for a Neuroscience degree. I have a 3.93 GPA, 100 volunteer hours at a hospital, President of an organization at my college, shadowed physicians, and submitted 1 LOR. I am lacking in volunteer hours but am still hopeful! Good luck to all of you!

hoping today is our day folks

@waspoppin I can feel a wave coming. I pray when we login tonight, may we see “congratulations on your acceptance!” Whatever happens we should still be proud of ourselves.

I agree! We’ve all worked so hard, regardless of what our decision is :smile:

I hope we get a decision either today or by Monday, the anticipation is killing me. Also, is there a specific time that decisions have been released in the past? I heard around 7PM, but I may be misinformed.

@Manelsea2000 i heard the same thing

@waspoppin nothing yet!

@ryanwharton nope :frowning:

waiting game continues on!

mission failed, we’ll get ‘em next time

@waspoppin Monday??

man i sure hope so, i’m losing patience

I’m really expecting Monday to be a wave, and if not probably Friday the 19th!

@mperez172 mid April is definitely the 15th so it would only make sense that the first wave would be on Monday, right ?

Read on Reddit that the earliest colleges, like COLA and Cockrell, send results and/or rejections on the 15th at the earliest. Another post said the usual waiting period is between the 16th and 20th if you’re coming in with 30+ credits

I don’t understand why all of you keep speculating and predicting, then freaking out when you’re wrong. They will come when they come. It sucks, but we’re all in the same boat and it’s getting annoying. Let’s try to keep our posts relevant and helpful so that real news doesn’t get lost in the shuffle.
