its most likely based on your major and when you turned in your application.
Not hearing back is not good nor bad, it just means you haven’t heard back. Consistently insisting or questioning if that means you’ve been rejected just causes others to feel stressed/disappointed.

@KZ0125 Yes!! super important to reject your offer if you don’t plan on attending as UT is the type of school that many want to go to.
Your girl got rejected
I am planning on appealing
Ayyyy I also got rejected!!! Don’t know where to go from here… jk next school in line is probably Texas State or one more semester of ACC.
@sweetsassysaira damn that sucks! what were you applying for?
@melibaby1096 I applied for International Relations
I am pretty sure they didn’t take me for my GPA, pretty sure they didn’t read my essays, resumes, or even rec letters but I am appealing for spring.
Lowkey I’m confused why my group hasn’t gone yet… I’m a gov major and should have been evaluated (i think) with the other Gov/ international relation majors. My second choice major is very obscure and only a small number of students apply for my other major. Do you think I am being evaluated for the second major? How often do people get accepted for their second choice major in COLA? Sorry probably annoying since there’s only a day left I’m just seeing a lot of acceptances and not that many rejections.
@novatosoca idk how the system works in terms of when they actually evaluate but i think the timing of when you submitted your app comes into play too. I submitted my app very last minute (like last week of February, right before the deadline) so i think that is why i haven’t gotten a response yet.
@sweetsassysaira was you GPA low? like below the the minimum requirement? cause im pretty sure they would have looked at your essays and other stuff. they do holistic reviews
Hey @utaustin2019 I was accepted to CNS and received an email today saying that all CNS transfers have to take the math assessment even if you have Calculus credit. I am not sure about the chemistry one though.
i haven’t gotten a response yet either. I applied for chemical engineering. i didn’t apply last minute or close to the deadline at all. I am out of state though, so that’s probably why.
@melibaby1096 it was, I had a pretty rough semester with a professor who was not willing to work with its student, he basically failed the entire class. I am pretty sure my essays, resumes, and rec letters were not even looked at.
@sweetsassysaira what was your GPA?
