yup me too. thanks for creating this. i have seen few craiglist adds abt fall 2015 incoming students trying to get a house. If we can make a group of 4-5 interested people together and look for a house i am sure we can get a house for 450-500 each.
I would be interested in getting a house too. That budget sounds great. I’m still in review of course so things may change lol
found few 2 bed 1 bath apt for around 1000 within a mile from campus, but still looking for house around UT.
@regmi1 really??? Id be down. I pay 500 to share a room here in Boston. I have a bike so distance from UT isn’t too much of a problem.
2000 for a huge town house. 1000 per bedroom. I will be sharing one room with a friend but the other room is open to any decent human(s) wanting to room.
Ideally I want my own room without paying more than 700 but if it comes down to it I will share a room. I’ve been doing it for my time in Boston so it’s not a huuuuge deal, but I did want to move away from it if I could.
i got a 5 bedroom house and gathered four other girls to room with. I am the only transfer though. The rent was 3400$ but i was able to get it down to 3300. The person who wanted the master is paying 730 while the other rooms pay 642 ish lol . All of the less expensive 5 bedrooms are like gone lol. theres one thats like 800 per room for people who have higher budgets. if you tell me what youre looking into and your budget, i can find something.

Is anyone thinking about going to Jester? Me and a friend are thinking about just taking a supplemental dorm since there’s no available ‘real’ dorms in it.

I’m staying in Dobie and playing the roommate lottery.
If you all don’t work this out, check out the FB group UTSubletRoommateFinder . We were able to find my son a 6 month lease close to campus w/a reasonable price and parking. There is tons of stuff posted every day. It was great!
