UT Austin McCombs Business OOS chances-32 ACT

Hey guys! UT Austin is my top choice and business will be my major. Please let me know what you think my chances are, and if someone else is in the same situation, I will be sure to let you know whether I got in or not! Be real with me, I wouldn't have applied if I didn't think they would at least look at it, but I don't know how possible it is to really get in! :)

-top 15% of a high ranking South Carolina school
-32 ACT composite with a 36 Reading
-3 completed APs (including Statistics), will have 5 by the end of the year
-Editor of literary magazine for both my junior and senior years
-President of photography club both my junior and senior years
-In Beta Club and a community service club. I have good community service, but not great. I've been volunteering on my own since 3rd grade at the local food bank, but only once a month
-I am an AP Scholar and got honorable mention for a state dept of justice art contest my freshman year
-Honors and AP my whole high school career
-3.8 unweighted gpa, 4.5 weighted
-Okay SATs. 1990/1350. 700 reading, 650 math, 640 writing
-won second at state for my division last season for bowling (I've been on a league for two years that meets Saturdays)
-I attend protocol school that meets once a month
-I attended a Duke writer's camp on Duke University's campus for two summers
-I work as an assistant for a photographer (since May) and as a corporate assistant for a corporation (since August). However, I work only a total of about 10-12 hours a week
-I have GREAT recommendations and pretty good essays (but only the two required essays)

So, my concerns are being OOS, not being top 10%, having only okay SAT scores, and applying to the very competitive business school.

My d had similar stats to yours: 31 composite ACT w/ 36 in English, published in several newspapers and other publications, member of our State’s Legislative Youth Advisory Council, Exec. Bd of Student Council, varsity CC, AP Scholar with distinction (mostly 5’s, one 4), Nat’l Honor Soc, Nat’l Art and Spanish Honor Societies, 4.86 w gpa, HOBY, Duke scholar, numerous awards, etc. We are from La. I think your chances are great for getting in. My d got the acceptance letter to UT right away, but the acceptance from McCombs came a lot later. Just tell your parents to prepare for the OOS tuition which is staggering. On the other hand, McCombs is worth it, and my d loves it there.
