By the way, I managed to maintain a 3.8 during the first grading period so yeah.

Recommend some more colleges to add to my list to if you don’t mind. :)

All of them are reaches except for Syracuse

UT Austin- low reach
NYU LSP- reach
Syracuse- match

Not sure if you’re referring to U of Michigan or Minnesota
Michigan- Reach
Minnesota- match

Bump bump bump bump

C’mon guys, seriously 150 views and two responses?

Which U of M? Where is your home state? What is your intended major?
People can’t response without necessary information unless you just want totally wild guess.

University of Minnesota

I plan to major in Russian Studies.

How about home state?

I live in Texas.

Your GPA is a bit low. but your SAT is above average for the school you are applying at UMN. However, your chance may still be slightly higher for UT than UMN, but both should be high match. I think NYU would be a low reach.

U of M might be alittttttle hard…NYU too…but syracuse is definitely plausible

Syracuse is a match for sure cuz ur sat scores are up there. Make sure your essays are flawless, because I thiink that would give you a good chance at UT austin.

Other colleges/universities that you may want to try: University of Colorado @ Boulder (low match/high safety, known for good education and produces famous alumni). If you’re a nature person you might wanna try UC Santa Cruz? People there are chill.

Texas State University? low match
A and M - high match

UT Austin- low reach
NYU LSP- reach
Syracuse- match
UM- match

Good luck!

Syracuse: Match
NYU: High Match (assuming your EC’s are above average, if grades are all you have then it’s a reach)

Good luck!
