UT Austin: Spring Transfer 2019 Thread

My daughter’s requested audit shows transferred courses and what she needs to take, and says she is 48% complete. No idea still if it means anything - probably not.

@zombiE66 Yes, I think you have to submit final transcript after done with this semester…should be on checklist after admitted.

You should send them in to get all the credits, but they shouldn’t affect your admission decision.

Where do you see the progress? Like the percent complete and all? @JaceyK

@zombiE66 you would need to get a transferable score which for UT I think is a C-, but if you are admitted, then once you enroll you get a fresh start with GPA. I hope that answers your question.

@zombiE66 I don’t know - relaying what my daughter tells me :slight_smile:

I already have my hours and everything. If that’s what you mean? @drojes

Are you checking on a computer or phone? @JaceyK

@zombiE66 She says she checked on her laptop (MS Surface) and “when you go to audit results it should be right there under “percent completion””

I see my courses but no option as “percent completion” @JaceyK

I tried doing the audit thing, and I noticed that after I click on the audit ID number there’s a thing at the top that says “school/major: E 65000” and after looking that up I found that it’s the major code for mathematics, which is my first choice. I tried running another audit with a different major, but it still says E 65000. I’m hoping that means I got accepted!

Where do you see the major code? Like you click something? @SpaceDementia

If you put in an audit request and it gets returned, then click on the highlighted audit ID in the audit results section, it redirects to the degree plan progress page. At the top, underneath the “rerun this audit” option there’s something that says “school/major” followed by a code

thought the major code was something to look at but its just whatever major you clicked when doing the audit

I can see that on mine too but my courses are not transfered like many are… still that kind of made me feel better i guess

The major code is at the top right corner and it doesn’t change no matter which major you run an audit with.

No, what I mean is that mine is the same no matter what major I clicked while doing the audit, which is why I’m hopeful that I might’ve been accepted

Interesting, mine is as well

So is it safe to say those of us who got nothing after doing the audit are likely to be rejected?

No? @Sith77

Noo nothing is confirmed yet just wait for the email

Honestly though it’s just speculation if the audit works for us we’re admitted. Since they’re taking so long on releasing decisions it might just be because they haven’t updated everyone’s audit page. If they can delay admission up till now I’m sure they haven’t gotten to everyone’s audits.
