agree, if it’s all decided we should’ve heard back already now.
Okay
Don’t lose hope y’all
I think the IDA is just a theory… We won’t know until they actually tell us we’re officially admitted, don’t be stressing out about this guys! :-*
so to kill the speculation, the audit thing worked for me when I applied for the Fall 2018 semester and i did not get accepted
you had your transfer courses listed there?
Wha…?
Obviously, UT and A&M are very different schools, but in the A&M admissions process everyone gets a degree audit. . My daughter has been accepted to A&M, but still waiting on UT for her to make her final decision.
@Longhorn322 <—This poster seems to indicate the audit thing is a rubbish when it comes to possible acceptance. I gather based on that post “we” all will get put into the system at some juncture.
Yes, so just keep it neutral and hope for the best :). Gotta wait till Thanksgiving week I guess. Hope they release the decisions before December…
Is the office going to be open tomorrow? Or they’ll be closed?
They’ll be open cause the break officially starts from Tuesday or Wednesday I guess
Can someone help me understanding how transfer GPA works? Does my GPA continue at UT? Or do they only count grades received at UT as your actual GPA? What about applying to masters programs in a few years? Would they still take in to account my community college GPA when making their admissions decisions?
Sort of wondering if I can relax at the end of this semester if I do get accepted to UT
Graduate programs will look at the transcripts from every school you have attended, and calculate a cumulative gpa for admissions; every school had their own grading scale though. UT has their own gpa, but you still have a cumulative gpa as well.
If someone could answer this that’d be really great. I’m at UTD and apparently I just learned that UT doesn’t accept Applied Calc 1 or 2 from any institutions accept maybe 3 and UTD is included in them. But I’ve got applied calc 2 in progress right now. Since I haven’t completed it yet will they consider it as pre req incomplete?
I think your safe mate. Just my educated best guess.
applied calc 1&2?
I completed Applied Calc 1 last semester and in the middle of applied Calc 2 right now. It should be done by the end of this semester before spring starts. So it’s still written as ‘in progress’ in the transcript I sent to UT.
im in the same situation. Pretty sure they will admit us to whatever school we applied to based on our gpa. not sure exactly tho
is anyone applying into education? seems like everyone here is COLA
