Also does that mean audit thing was true? If yes, then I probably got rejected
@utbabe That poster from earlier said the audit thing meant £UK all. So, I wouldn’t worry about that. If UT truly has been sending out acceptances then either nobody on here’s been accepted, or that is total BS. I think we’ll all know soonish. UT doesn’t give a toss if their decision inconveniences us.
I think they’re probably sending out very few results per day and they might be sending the ones for freshmen first so it’s not our turn yet. Anyways I think if our results are coming out we should be seeing people post them here (even denial letters). So…we should just wait. I believe they should come out before Dec.
What is $UK? @Sith77
@Anonymooous99 I’m an incoming freshman for spring 2019, they haven’t sent my decision yet. we’re all in this waiting game together
@sharkgirl13 wow then they really are sending results very slow
I need someone’s opinion. My IDA audit says 12% complete but not all my coursework is transferred. It only shows Calculus 1 /Calculus 2 and Macro/Micro economics. I am very confused. Should I call them and ask what is up. Is it possible my ACC transcript didn’t get uploaded or does that mean I didn’t get in.
Theres a section at the bottom of the transfer credit page that says credit hours or courses excluded. It should tell you which course and how many hours will not be counted towards your GPA.
We can all just become aggies?
The admin office lady also confirmed that everyone with an eid gets access to IDA regardless of status.
Meanwhile, with all this time worrying about getting in I’ve got my appeal letter ready to go in case UT gives me the chop?.
If you are currently an external transfer applicant, Admissions does not upload all your transfer credit until your are admitted. While your application is in process, they only add the two economics and two calculus courses to your record, to document you’ve met the prerequisite course requirement for admission consideration. They don’t really expect you to run an IDA degree audit on yourself so early.
im in calc 2 rn and all of my transfer credits are uploaded
@PastePotPete so what’s the thinking here? Everyone who has an EID can run an audit, that makes sense. But only those who have been accepted would have their transcripts uploaded? That makes the most sense to me. Others on here have said that the audit results are unrelated to admissions decisions but again, that may just be people running the audit and not necessarily seeing their transcripts uploaded.
Which would be bad for @Sith77 who is and has been very upset by all of this
Where’d you get that info? @PastePotPete
@CFLumos Simple efficiency. Evaluating all transfer credit and keystroking it onto an applicant’s record is work, and it is not needed if the applicant is denied admission. So they wait until the end of the process and add the rest of the transfer credit only for those who’ve been accepted.
@PastePotPete and is this based on your logical deduction of the situation at hand? Or do you know this to be a fact of the UT admissions system? Rate your confidence sir! As a percentage please. Thank you btw
@CFLumos that doesn’t make sense. And, yes if the audit deal is true, then as an external transfer I’m F’ed. However, see @Longhorn322 said, they did the audit and all their transcripts/courses were in, but got denied. Your theory doesn’t hold water here mate, at least with respect to this student.
See @Cattynebula who actually asked admissions in the last day or so whether the audit was a precursor to acceptance. Answer: No, “every” student gets one whether accepted, or chopped.
- I may get chopped, but that would mean they denied a student who has over 2.5 yrs of a 4.0 accumulative gpa. I know there's been people rejected at UT who end up going to Brown, or another IVY. It is what it is. Hook 'Em ??????.
Makes sense
I doubt they would actually tell us whether the audit thing works or not
