Come on UT let’s do this! I personally give myself a 50/50 chance at best. After reading all the threads from several years past on here…I should’ve applied for summer. I’m going to do the appeal once I likely get denied, then I’ll accept the appeal denial and apply for summer. If that too fails aTm it is. Que Sera, Sera.
FYI: There were peeps who got the chop earlier in the week. Some people posted on reddit & Twitter. Not everyone who originally posts on “CC” posts their outcomes on here after finding out. Funny how that works?.
Did those peeps list their stats?
What kind of GPA’s do they have?
I didn’t even realize one could apply for summer. I’ll have to check that option out. Hoping for some news today!!
@123vca Same. I didn’t know summer was an option till I read loads of threads on here, reddit and other sites. I knew UT was very hard to get into, I just didn’t realize how hard. There have been many people who get turned down by UT who end up going to Brown or Princeton. <—Call me naive but, I truly didn’t know this prior to applying. That essentially means UT behaves like UVA, UNC, MICHIGAN & University of Chicago type of institutions.
The people I mentioned merely mentioned their gpa’s. I do however recall that there were several with more than 40+ hours of uni w/ 3.6 and higher gpa’s. I was needless to say surprised. That said, I haven’t a clue what the rest of their app looked like. Perhaps the rest of their app was average at best? Who knows mate?.
Has anyone heard back from COLA for BA in Psych? Also, how does this capacity thing work? Is it for every individual school or major or for the university overall? Is it for every semester and every type of student? Like transfers and freshmen etc? I don’t know if I’m making sense lol
Can decisions be made without my Fall 2018 transcript? My school is not releasing fall 2018 transcripts until December 20th, so would that be too late?
