UT Austin, TAMU, UTD, UTSA Biomedical Engineering

As you can tell from the title, I am about to apply to the schools listed above. My second choice major is chemical engineering. What are my chances, especially for UT Austin (my 1st choice)?
-Texas in state student
-Ranked 9/600
-Unweighted GPA: 4.0/4.0
-Weighted GPA: 5.625/6
-New SAT 1530/1600 (780 reading, 750 math, 24/24 essay)
-1470/1520 PSAT(National Merit qualifier)
-White, family income around $140K

-I have taken the following 7 AP courses so far, with a 5 on every test:
World History
Calculus BC
Computer Science A
Chemistry
US History
English Language and Composition
Physics I

Will be taking 6 AP courses senior year, plus 2 computer science courses and an electronics course:
Physics C
Statistics
Macroeconomics
US Govt
Biology
English Literature

I think my 3 essays are fairly decent, and I should have great recommendation letters from my compsci and chemistry teachers.

Unfortunately, my ECs are really lackluster:

Member, Mu Alpha Theta math club 2013-2015
Member, Mu Alpha Theta National Math Honor Society, 2014-present
Participated in UIL Mathematics, Number Sense, Calc Applications competitions 2013-2015
Member, Computer Science Club, 2013 - present
Worked on team to develop app for fundraising organization, 2013
Participated in UIL Computer Science written and hands-on competitions, 2015-present
Helped on club/ CS department recruiting efforts
Member, Engineering Club, 2015-present
Participated in design, construction of VEX robotics kits

You’re going to get accepted to all of the above

Automatic admission to UT Austin bc of top 7%, but cant guarantee admission into cockrell school of engineering. I say this from experience:

my sibling got ACCEPTED into cockrell. #15 in class, 1900-something SAT, and low 30’s ACT.

her friend: #9 in same class, national merit finalist, national ap scholar, probably a 34-36 ACT. REJECTED from cockrell.

I bet it definitely had to do with the essays…

Biomedical at UT is the most competitive major I think. It’s going to be tough, even for someone with your stats.

I can’t believe you’re worried about these schools man. The only one with a chance of rejecting you is UT Austin because their engineering admissions are fickle, but even that is a small chance. You’re at a good position, just knock the essays out of the park.

I’m surprised you don’t have more selective schools on your list.

Dude, you should be applying to more selective schools with that data. UT’s satellite schools are relatively easy to get into, but I’m sure that not only will you be accepted, you’ll get some nice scholarship money.
