I got into Texas A&M and CMU, and I’m just trying to figure out whether or not to stay in Texas, lol…

I can’t give you a list of statistics, but I know in the past I’ve googled them and it’s pretty easy to come by pages where CMU’s Tepper is ranked very highly. That said, all the UT sessions boasted some pretty good numbers, too. Wish I could help you more, but either way…Good luck in your decision!

Weigh programs and costs

I’d go so far as to say CMU=UT Austin in pure Finance. They’re both on the tier below MIT/Wharton, so they’ll both get you some respect in recruiting

CMU>UT in computational finance hands down. If math is your thing, CMU is a no-brainer.

CMU>UT in class sizes. UT is huge…at max Tepper will have an incoming class of ~90

UT probably has an advantage in marketing/accounting.

Both very good programs. Im choosing Tepper though cause I’m a math guy =D Good luck with your decision
