UT AUSTIN! What should I minor in?

<p>Hello!! </p>

<p>Quick question about UT Austin.
I'm a very good student and UT is my top choice because of my budget, and also
proximity issues.
I want to do honors, to separate myself from the bunch of other people there.</p>

<p>I want to go into pre-pharmacy.
So, with that in mind, I want to apply to Dean Scholar's.
But I might not get in...(is Dean Scholar's really competitive anyone??)
So, I thought I'd also apply to Liberal Arts Honors. But to get into LAH I would have to double major (so I'm thinking economics)</p>

<p>HOWEVER, would doing Dean Scholar's or LAH or possibly even my double major hinder me?
I mean...I want to do 2 years of pre-pharm and then apply to pharm school. I wasn't thinking about getting a Bachelor's Degree...
but i'm thinking i might have to if i do honors...</p>

<p>Dean’s scholars is VERY competitive.</p>

<p>If you want to do one of the honors programs, you’ll have to get a BA/BS and can’t just do the prereqs.</p>
