UT Dallas or A&M or TCU or UTSA cap

Considering a major in business with a focus in marketing or administration with a double major in environmental science with a minor in data science (or something similar since it’s not offered everywhere).

Already admitted to UT Dallas for marketing and A&M for communication. Will almost definitely be accepted to TCU and CAP is obviously a given for admission but transferring in might be tough for McComb’s but I could probably swing a 3.8 at UTSA

TAMU and TCU will provide the complete university experience and are more residential campuses. The vibe is a lot different at each of the campuses. I’d recommend visiting and talking with some students there to get a better feel of how you like it. UTD is well known for business and engineering, and the proximity to large businesses make local internships possible during the school year. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the three, though I would prefer TAMU if costs were similar. Not sure about UTSA though.

If you would prefer to go to UT Austin even if it meant spending a year at UTSA, take the UTSA CAP option. Lots of students do this, and McCombs is indeed selective but if you do well during your first year, you’ll have a good shot. If you’d rather not transfer, go to A&M. These two options seem to be the best choices. It really comes down to the heated, age-long Texan debate; Longhorns vs Aggies.
